Bullet-Resisting Glazing Material
Our Magnetite security shields offer sound proofing and energy saving you expect with our windows with the additional benefits of a bullet proof application if necessary. The acrylic sheets in this application are bullet-resisting glazing material made of a lightweight, crystal-clear, non- laminated alternative for UL-752 Class I security applications.
The material offers cost savings when compared with bullet-resisting glass or polycarbonate of the same UL class rating. This version of Plexiglas® SB sheet is listed by Underwriters Laboratories as resisting medium-power small arms in both indoor and outdoor applications.
Plexiglas SB Bullet-Resisting Acrylic Sheet
Undercounter Protection. When bullet-resisting Plexiglas® SB acrylic sheet is installed above counter areas, equivalent undercounter protection should also be provided. Although steel plate is traditionally used, Plexiglas® SB acrylic sheet is also appropriate, with the additional advantages of light weight and economy. In addition, the material's easy fabrication eliminates the need for installation by special tradesmen.
INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
Access Doors. A lockable, bullet-resisting access door is advisable. The door should open outwards into the customer area to prevent “kicking the door down.” A bulk-type, pass-through device for packages and money bags is also advised.

T IMPACT ACRYLIC SHEET FAMILY
Available in three levels of impact resistance. You no longer have to sacrifice clarity, design flexibility or fabrication techniques to get additional toughness. High clarity Plexiglas® T Acrylic Sheet is available in three levels of impact resistance.
PLEXIGLAS® T
Plexiglas T acrylic combines the beauty of Plexiglas MC with added toughness. At the level of toughness afforded by Plexiglas T acrylic, you no longer have to sacrifice clarity, design flexibility or fabrication techniques to get additional toughness.
PLEXIGLAS® T2
Plexiglas T2, the second level of impact resistance in the Plexiglas T acrylic family, gives the designer the freedom to explore new designs that may not have been possible with a standard acrylic. It can be used in displays in environments where durability is needed.
PLEXIGLAS® T3
For your most highly demanding POP applications, we offer the greatest level of impact resistance available with Plexiglas T3 acrylic. All three levels offer excellent clarity, rigidity and resistance to the effects of fluorescent lighting in POP and display environments.
Plexiglas T acrylic sheet grades are available in colorless, white, black and green. Sheet sizes vary; thicknesses range from 0.060"to 0.354".
All grades provide designers with flexibility, surface hardness and versatile fabrication techniques. Aesthetic appeal is retained even with displays placed in high-traffic areas.

The Plexiglas T3 acrylic product offering is custom. There is no standard sheet size, but standard thicknesses from 0.060" to 0.354". Orders must be quoted upon request.

Plexiglas® SB acrylic sheet is easy to cut, drill, rout and cement using conventional tools. The cell-cast sheets are paper masked, with several UL-752 stickers strategically placed on the surface of the paper.
