Magnetite® uses an optical grade acrylic panel that magnetically seals to a slim frame on the inside of your current window. The result is a near invisible secondary glazing system that forms an airtight gap between the acrylic and your original glass. That sealed cavity is the magic: it acts as both a thermal and acoustic buffer.
