Product & Compatibility

Will Magnetite work with my window?

Yes. Magnetite window inserts are custom built to fit nearly any window size or shape, including fixed, sliding, casement, and specialty windows. The system installs on the interior without replacing your existing window frame.

Can Magnetite be used instead of storm windows?

Yes. Many customers choose Magnetite as an interior alternative to storm windows. Unlike exterior storm windows, Magnetite installs inside the home and improves insulation, noise reduction, and condensation control without altering the exterior appearance.

Can I still operate my existing window?

Absolutely. Magnetite inserts are designed to work in tandem with your windows and can be easily removed for ventilation, cleaning, or maintenance.

Do you offer inserts for patio doors?

Yes. Magnetite offers patio door inserts designed for sliding and large glass doors. These inserts improve noise reduction, insulation, and comfort without affecting normal door operation.

Materials & Performance

Are Magnetite inserts made from plexiglass?

Magnetite offers acrylic window inserts, sometimes referred to as plexiglass window inserts. Acrylic is lightweight, durable, and highly effective for insulation and noise reduction.

How do soundproof window inserts reduce noise?

Soundproof window inserts create a sealed air gap between the insert and your existing window. This air space, combined with airtight magnetic seals, helps reduce sound transmission and improve indoor comfort.

Can Magnetite help stop condensation on windows?

Yes. By creating an insulating interior layer and reducing cold surface exposure, Magnetite helps stop condensation on windows and limits moisture buildup that can lead to mold or damage.

Do window inserts improve energy efficiency?

Yes. Magnetite energy saver window inserts reduce drafts and heat transfer, helping maintain consistent indoor temperatures and lower heating and cooling costs.

Warranty & Support

What warranty do you offer?

Magnetite systems include a 5 year parts and labour warranty covering manufacturing defects. Optical grade acrylic panels are also backed by a manufacturer’s material warranty.

How do I request support or claim warranty?

You can contact our Canada wide support team by phone or email. With your invoice and product details, we will guide you through service or replacement if needed.

Installation & Service

How long does installation take?

Installation time depends on the number of windows, but many projects are completed in a single day. Inserts are custom manufactured in advance to minimize disruption.

Do you provide coast-to-coast service?

Yes. Magnetite operates through a nationwide network of dealers and installers, providing coast to coast service for residential and commercial projects.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I work from home and couldn't stand the sound of passing traffic and screaming kids on my street. I got Magnetite windows installed and it cut the noise right down. Of course nothing is 100%, but Magnetite windows made a massive difference. And they cost me next to nothing compared to what brand new soundproof windows would've costed. Alfredo and his team are pros. Highly recommended if you want a more peaceful home for a very reasonable price.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Solid 4.5, thank you to Alfredo and Jaskaran for the setup and installation! There is definitely a noticeable decrease in traffic noise, so it does work. I subtracted 0.5 since there are slight scuffs and marks on new frame, but that’s me being a perfectionist.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Martin and Rashad did an excellent job installing a custom-fit entire floor-to-ceiling wall of Magnetite window inserts for my guest bedroom in my condo. We were having a common issue of some construction noise in a busy Toronto location. The bedroom has been quiet and serene ever since the installation. For the amount of glass, customized fabrication, and professionalism/friendliness from Martin, I think the price was worth it for our result. I highly recommend Martin and would definitely work with him again. Thank you guys!
