Product & Compatibility
Will Magnetite work with my window?
Yes! The system is custom-built to match any window size or shape—whether fixed, sliding, casement or skylight—and attaches magnetically or via trim without replacing your existing frame.
Can I still operate my existing window?
Absolutely. Our insert panels are designed to work in tandem with your window. They can be easily removed for cleaning, ventilation or maintenance, ensuring you maintain full function.
How do I clean or maintain the panels?
Cleaning is simple. Use a soft cloth or chamois with an acrylic-safe cleaner or mild detergent (3% in lukewarm water). Avoid abrasive tools or harsh chemicals to protect the optical grade acrylic finish.
Materials & Performance
Why use acrylic instead of glass?
Acrylic offers significantly better thermal insulation than standard glass—letting through only one-sixth the heat of glass in some cases. It’s stronger, safer, and blocks harmful UV rays to protect furnishings and fabrics.
Will the acrylic yellow or degrade over time?
No. We use optical-grade acrylic that resists yellowing and crazing. Unlike cheaper plastic alternatives, our panels are UV-treated and designed to maintain clarity and performance over years of use.
How long will the magnetic seal last?
The magnetic banding used has a life expectancy of up to 99 years under normal conditions. It retains strong adhesion, withstands temperature changes, and ensures the insert remains firmly sealed year after year.

What warranty do you offer?
Our standard residential system includes a 5-year parts and labour warranty covering manufacturing defects. For optical acrylic panels, a 10-year manufacturer's warranty applies on materials.
